In light of the reality that Summer Camps are unlikely to be open in the Summer of 2020, Xplosive Entertainment has decided to “pivot” its talents and available time and introduce a Summer camp program for kids looking to learn how to DJ. The term “pivot” is one used in the business world lately to characterize a change in business program. Well, since large events cannot take place for the immediate future, the team at Xplosive wanted to adapt and help families seeking activities for their kids this Summer.

The program has been designed to be offered either virtually or in-person at either of the Xplosive office locations (Bucks County, PA and Monmouth County, NJ). The sessions are being offered as one-on-one lessons with a qualified and experienced DJ or in small group sessions. Xplosive Entertainment’s DJs have reached national industry notoriety. The “instructors” have vast experience in the private party industry, nightclub environment, radio mix shows, and concert/festival styled events. The eight week DJ camp will take students/campers on a 101 journey into the world of DJing. Lessons will include basic mixing skills, scratching skills, music composition theory, equipment and software familiarity. Included in the tuition is access to high quality starter kit of equipment. Each student take home the his/her own set of gear and practice on it. Following the eight weeks, the equipment will be available for purchase at a significant discount. This gear will be perfect as they grow their DJ skills and can be used in the future to help them make money!

Ideally, students should be in the age range of 10-16 for this program, however exceptions may be made for the one-on-one classes if the camper shows the right level of interest.
